Fred, I sure hate to see you guys come under attack in such a way. I think it is not out of line to question and challenge some of the presuppositions of the emergent movement, but the angry, unfounded response is simply pointless.

Articles such as this show just what a mess the church really is. It is so sad that people can so badly miss the point. Those who are hopelessly tied to modernism in Christianity are the greatest critics of those who seek to find true Biblical direction. They do not seem to realize that what they have done to the Christian message is far worse than what they accuse us of. It would be laughable if it was not so heartbreaking.
